Available in both Electro or Permanent magnetic styles, these rugged Overhead Separators are primarily suspended above conveyor belts to magnetically lift ferrous metal out of various bulk materials. They may be used to remove contamination or to protect expensive equipment from damage in applications such as Quarrying, Mining, Recycling, Grain Handling or Food preparation.

Steinert Sturton-Gill Magnetics provides Magnets in manual or self cleaning versions for inline or crossbelt positions in belt widths up to 2800mm, and suspension heights up to 900mm. They may be supplied with durable, armour-clad belting and an extensive variety of safety or operating accessories to meet all current mining requirements.

A full range of Transformer Rectifier control cabinets are also available to ensure that correct power and optional accessory functions are safely and properly maintained.
